The Life Guard Medical, Social Welfare & Educational Society (Regd.) Sangrur has been established in 2004. The society has been promoted by a group of Doctors & Educationists, who are motivated by a strong spirit of social commitment. The ultimate aim of the society is to establish educational institutes to cater the drastic & challenging need of the educationally backward area of Malwa region of Punjab.

Keeping in view the need of the region and to contribute for meaningful employment for girls & development of Medical, Nursing & Health Education in Punjab, the Society has established “Life Guard Nursing Institute, Patiala Road, Village Kaloudi, Sangrur, Punjab - 148001”. In the wake of latest technology & techniques the scenario of Medical, Nursing & Health education has changed. The education is now a blend of the principles, latest technology and practical approach.
Nursing is an art as well as science for the noble cause of the society. The basis of Nursing lying only in the dedicated, selfless service of the human being. The role of Nurse cant be associated only with Medical Profession, rather it is incarnate with the service of the society. Infect, Nursing has become much more critical than ever before.
